YOU HAVE A BURIED LEAD THAT WOULD ATTRACT YOUNG READERS… FROM CLINTON USE IT AND BURY THE REST…PARAPHRASE HIS MESSAGE TO YOUNG VOTERS. (YOUR LEAD IS GOOD….’TIL I GOT TO THE END. THIS COULD SERVE AS A SECONDARY LEAD..WITH THE TIME FRAME. GOOD JOB, BTW.)

Asking voters to go out and make sure they cast their ballots, former President Bill Clinton told the public why voting for Democrats would bring Ohio more jobs, better health care and better education, Saturday in Canton.

Along with Clinton, INCUMBENT GOV. Ted Strickland, OHIO ATTORNEY GENERAL Richard Cordray, SEN. Sherrod Brown, D-OHIO and CONG. John Boccieri, D-OHIO spoke at the parking lot of Tozzi’s on 12th to a crowd of about 1,000 people. CONG. Tim Ryan, D-OHIO, WHO IS RUNNING FOR RE-ELECTION and Yvette Brown, THE DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE FOR LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR were also at the rally.

The mayor of the city of Canton, William Healy II, opened the rally asking the public to make sure they vote and said if all registered Democrats would vote, the election would be already won. (KEEP THE VERB WHOLE, WOULD ALREADY BE WON.

“This election is not about who we are going to vote for,” Healy said,PUT PERIOD HERE AND THEN OPEN WITH A CAPITAL “THIS “this election is about who is going to vote.”

Running to keep his position as (THIS IS GOOD TO INCLUDE, BUT IT HAS TO BE UP ABOVE..OR JUST LIMIT THE PERSONS MENTIONED ABOVE TO ONE OR TWO…AND THEN PUT THE REST WITH THEIR EXTENSIVE TITLES DOWN HERE) Attorney General, democrat candidate Richard Cordray ALWAYS CAPITALIZE DEMOCRATIC. UNLESS YOU ARE REFERRING TO GENERAL IDEAS, DEMOCRACY,

said those who believe Republicans will be the only ones enthusiastic about Tuesday’s election may be wrong.

“I’m asking for four more years, so we hold them accountable for what they (Republicans) did to Ohio,” Cordray said. “The choice we make in any election, and this is no different, is always a choice between going forward or turning back.”

“We’re going to turn out, we’re going to stand up and we’re going to speak up and we’re going to vote, we’re counting on you to help us get it done,” Cordray said.

Clinton’s appearance made Massillon Tigers and Mckinley CAPITALIZE THE K…McKinley……

Bulldogs fans ignore one of the most well-known football rivalries to receive the CAPITALIZE democratic candidates who made sure to include football in their speeches.

Clinton said he had to contain himself not to stop at the Pro Football Hall of Fame, which is located a few minutes from where the candidates spoke.

(I’d restructure the next graph to get Boccieri as an intro…by paraPHRASING PART OF HIS FIRST QUOTE.OTHERWISE, IT LOOKS AS IF IT’S CLINTON’S QUOTE.

“While we may wear different jerseys, the folks in Washington need to understand that we are all playing for America and we shouldn’t miss this opportunity to help our country and that’s why we need you to send a clear message that this isn’t about the special interest; this is about your interest,” said John Boccieri, running for U.S. Congress.

Boccieri said electing Democrats this term would help the economy keep expanding, motivate businesses to develop locally, encourage jobs to stay in the U.S. and help people to have access to health care.

He talked about Timken, one of the largest employers in Stark County, and how the company was able to develop thousands of jobs locally. He also spoke about how after part of the health care plan was approved he learned of disabled children who now have access to health insurance for the first time in their lives.

Boccieri left earlier JUST… EARLY IN THE RALLY TO MEET… to meet his wife who had gone into labor while he spoke at the rally. IT WILL BE HIS FIRST? SECOND? FOUR HUNDREDTH CHILD?

THEN YOU NEED A TRANSITION TO GET THAT IT’S STRICKLAND. AS IN… OHIO GOV. TED STRICKLAND, A CANDIDATE FOR REELECTION TOLD THE CROWD THAT OHIO IS “THE HEART OF IT ALL.”

“AND OHIO, WHEN THE VOTES ARE FINALLY…..

“Ohio is the heart of it all. And Ohio, when the votes are finally cast and fully counted after Nov. 2, Ohioans will send a message across this nation that Ohio is blue,” said gubernatorial candidate Ted Strickland. “And that we will not give out, we will not give up, we will not give in.”

Clinton, who was in his 120th campaign event said this election has been the most fact free he has ever seen, and that people should know about what Democrats have done for America,

“I love Ohio. You know, I always come here and feel elevated. I just love this thing. Every community has something new, something interesting,” Clinton said. “But, the more I got out here, the more concerned I became because I read that young people were not going to vote, a lot of people who voted in 2008 are not going to vote, independents thought because they are more fiscally conservatives they ought to vote for the republicans, and this has been about the most fact free election I ever was in.” HERE’S YOUR LEAD. HE PUSHED FOR YOUNG PEOPLE TO VOTE… AND CAPITALIZE REPUBLICANS…

Clinton said the most important thing the public could do after the rally is to make sure that they vote and tell people to vote.

He talked about how Strickland kept tuition from rising in Ohio, and how democrats CAPITALIZE have worked to keep student loans at a low interest rate. He said if John Kasich is elected, the education budget will be cut in 25 percent. HERE’S ANOTHER LEAD….

He added future jobs in the U.S. will require higher education and that it is important that students have access to more education.

“This is your life, this is the future of America,” Clinton said.

Canton resident Debbie Young, who came specially to listen to Clinton speak said she is going to vote and tell people she knows to do the same.

“I heard really good things today,” Young said, “and I’m going to pass it on to my friends.”

Clinton, who first spoke in Boardman in the morning, went to Columbus after he left Canton’s voters with a message:

“Please leave here and don’t let people get to the polls without telling them what you know,” Clinton said.
