Bio

Kent State graduate, W. Roak Zeller, is a republican candidate for the Ohio House District 68. Currently employed by Rubbermaid in Magadore & Leeda Northeast in Rootstown, the 39-year old believes in tax cuts resembling JFK and Ronald Reagan’s. So, tax cuts are part of his solution. “Ohio has the seventh heaviest tax burden out of 50 states, and that’s no way to attract employers,” he said in a video blog on wroakzeller.com. “It’s a good way to scare them away, along with your kids and grandkids who have to go to other states looking for job opportunities.” Other aspects of Zeller are his support of the second amendment and a smaller government. He believes public charter schools should meet higher standards than traditional surrounding schools. He is a member of the Portage County Farm Bureau and has been named a “Friend of Agriculture” by the Ohio Farm Bureau, according to wroakzeller.com.
