The Board of Trustees voted to raise room and board rates for the Fall 2010 semester.

The rate for a standard double-room residence hall room will increase by 5.9 percent, while the rate for dining plans will increase 4.85 percent.

The board cited operating costs, debt obligations, maintenance and the rising price of utilities and food for the jump.
