Tim Moerland, the incoming dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, has been in town since Thursday.

Among other things, he has been interviewing candidates for assistant/associate dean of the college, a position that will become vacant when Associate Dean Diedre Badejo leaves Kent State at the end of the semester.

Moerland will officially take over for interim Dean Jerry Feezel on May 15.
