Clothing item drop-off in Student Center

Campus Catalyst will collect clothing donations from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. tomorrow on the second floor of the Student Center.

Erica Prong, junior English major and president of Campus Catalyst, said the group hopes to receive enough donations to help more than one shelter or organization.

The students in Campus Catalyst inform people about the Catalyst Church and help the community of Kent.

“We know Kent is not the most prosperous city,” Prong said, “and we know that there (are) a lot less privileged, so we thought the clothing drive would be a good way to help out the community, especially with winter coming.”

The organization is accepting clothing and accessories that are no longer used or wanted. Prong asks that any smaller items, such as jewelry and other accessories, are separated from any bigger donations.
