Relive childhood with GUTS at the Rec

Childhood is calling, and it’s saying GUTS is back. The Student Recreation and Wellness Center will host “GUTS Rec Services Style” again Friday from 10:30 p.m. to 3 a.m.

Based off the popular Nickelodeon TV show, the event will have six activities ranging from a military-style obstacle course to the infamous Aggro Crag mountain.

Up to 75 teams will compete for points in each event, and the team with the most points at the end of the night will receive a medal and a piece of the Aggro Crag. Second- and third-place teams will also receive medals.

Former GUTS referee Moira Quirk, also known as Mo, will host the event and perform her comedy act at 12:30 a.m. She will also be available for autographs.

Teams should be creative with their uniforms because Mobile Campus will give a prize to the team with the most creative uniform.

Black Squirrel Radio Balloon Challenge will give spectators a chance to be part of the action and win free concert tickets. After answering a trivia question, each player will run into a balloon-filled room and find the balloon with a black squirrel. The player with the fastest time will win.

Free bagged lunches with sandwiches, chips and pop will be provided.

Registration is free and ends tomorrow. Those interested in participating should contact the Pro Shop.
