BUS hosts fundraiser at Papa Johns today

All day today, 20 percent of pizza sales at Papa John’s on Main Street will benefit Black United Students.

The organization receives allocations to host its major events such as the Renaissance Ball and comedy show. But Adrian Neal, public relations chair of BUS, said the organization is trying to find other avenues similar to this so it does not rely completely upon the Allocations Committee.

Neal said the money will be used to supply refreshments at their meetings and T-shirts and gift cards for members with high attendance at mass meetings. Also, BUS will use the money to provide door prizes to guests at their major events.

In addition, a portion of the money BUS makes from the fundraiser will benefit the University Mentoring Program.
