Black United Students will hold its introductory meeting at 7:30 p.m. tonight in Room 317 of the Student Center.

The meeting will introduce the executive board to the rest of the organization, hold sign-ups for committees and introduce this year’s goals.

“The biggest goal is to unify the black community and do more community service,” BUS President Sasha Parker said.

Parker said a number of alumni will also be attending the meeting to speak to current members about issues at Kent State.

She encouraged any interested student to attend.

“We’re not discriminatory,” she said.

Meetings will be held every other Tuesday following today’s meeting.
