Cluck and chomp to help Relay for Life

Ten dollars might sound like a lot for a weekday dinner, but the money is for more than just ingredients and service.

Tonight, Kent State’s Relay For Life committee will host Battle to the Bone, a wing-eating contest to raise funds for this year’s cause.

The event is free to attend, but participants must pay a $10 entry fee.

“The winner will receive more than $50 in prizes and win tickets to an upcoming home Indians game,” said Public Relations Chair Heather Bing, a senior public relations major.

The contest begins at 6 p.m. at Mugzeez in downtown Kent.

“Our goal is to involve at least one member from every team,” Bing said.

Individuals interested in participating can contact co-chair Rachel Kessler at [email protected] or sign up at the event.
