Neither Kent State police nor Koonce residence hall staff would confirm students’ reports that a camera was found in the ninth floor bathroom of Koonce Hall yesterday.

Sophomore exploratory major Brittani Johnson reported seeing a red light in the bathroom’s soap dispenser around 6:30 p.m. She said she brought this to the attention of several other residents and the residence hall staff, who reportedly removed a small silver device that was taped inside the soap dispenser.

Kent State police and ninth floor resident assistant Meghan Pfeiffer refused to comment. The residence hall director could not be reached for comment.
