Harambee will host holiday food drive

Harambee is hosting a campus-wide canned food drive competition to benefit underprivileged Kent-area families this Thanksgiving.

The competition asks student organizations to come together and donate to see who can raise the most canned goods before Nov. 20.

“We are trying to find a way to collect food for underprivileged kids while at the same time bringing the school community together,” said LaDon Neal, Harambee president.

All food will be collected in Oscar Ritchie Hall and donated to non-profit organizations.

Neal asks student organizations interested in participating to contact Harambee at [email protected] or [email protected].
