Shoppers don’t have to fight huge crowds at the mall to find a gift for the holidays.

The Holiday Glass Sale is today from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the second floor of the Student Center.

Christmas tree ornaments, paper weights and various sized vases are some of the glassware available at the sale.

The glassware was created by about 12 art students. Most of the money from the sale will go toward buying new supplies and tools for the glass studio, professor emeritus Stan Apseloff said.

Apseloff said there are some interesting and beautiful pieces of glass at the sale that would make great gifts.
