On Election Day, voters can elect three candidates for full-term seats – which last for four years – on the Portage County Educational Service Center Governing Board. They also may elect one candidate for a board term expiring at the end of 2007.

The Portage County Educational Service Center Governing Board assists in providing services to all city and local school districts in Portage County.

Candidates running for a full-term position are Thomas M. Biltz of Rootstown; Deborah M. Firtha of Atwater Township; Paula Hluch of Atwater Township; and Christina Pierce of Atwater Township.

Two candidates running for the term expiring in 2007 are Dianne Kuntzman of Suffield and Kathy Zizka of Mantua.
