Junior exploratory major Chris Hutton was struck by a motorcycle around midnight last night as he was crossing the street near the intersection of Summit Street and Pisces Drive with his friend, sophomore exploratory major Jessica Veneri. The accident occurred when the motorcyclist passed a nearby bus.

Hutton reportedly pushed Veneri out of the way of the vehicle, and he is in intensive care at Akron City Hospital.
