Hippie Fox Rocks hosts grand opening

With bold, teal walls, tie-dye tapestries and crystals galore, Hippie Fox Rocks is Kent’s place for all things metaphysical. The shop opened in December, but hosted its grand opening celebration April 6.

Over 150 people were in attendance at the opening, which was an exciting moment for the owner Jared Abell.

“We opened the store in the Ohio winter and didn’t think people would show up for it at that time. The property manager of Acorn Alley, Jim Antal, was kind enough to allow us to use the courtyard for the grand opening, which would have been useless in the winter time,” Abell said. “Springtime just seemed like the right time for new beginnings.”

Their Instagram, @hippiefoxrocks, is the main source for updates on the latest crystals and upcoming events.

Hippie Fox Rocks is open seven days a week, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. They are located at 155 E. Erie St. #201, Kent, OH 44240.
