Kent State University Police are currently looking for information on a woman who is reported to have entered a restroom on Koonce Hall’s sixth floor and grabbed a male student’s genitalia through his clothing. The incident happened at around 11 p.m. on Sept. 1.

The university sent a campus safety alert regarding the incident on Friday afternoon, and police are seeking the public’s help in finding the woman.

The suspect in question was described as a white woman with chest-length dark brown or black hair believed to be between the ages of 18 and 20. She was dressed in a gray and blue tie-dye T-shirt with the image of a band on it. She wore ripped light blue jeans and wore gold earrings and bracelets.

“We continue to keep safety as a top priority,” the email alert said. “Kent State Police patrol our campus 24 hours a day through vehicle, foot and bicycle patrol. There are more than 30 blue light phones stationed across campus in parking lots and along sidewalks that connect immediately with campus police. In addition, a safety escort service is available by calling 330-672-7004.”

This story will be updated with more information as it is available.
