Ohio College Comeback gets former students back in the classroom and back on track to getting their degrees

Only 49% of Ohioans graduate for college. Eight Northeast Ohio community colleges and universities have joined a compact to ensure former Ohio students not only obtain their degrees but get rid of debt that halted them on their post-secondary journey. Eligible students will enroll in at least 6 credit hours (part-time) and pass all classes in order to receive $2,500 in debt forgiveness to whichever university their debt is owed. $5000 total for a completion of two semesters. There is no catch, just the goal of improving the communities in Northeast Ohio by educating its citizens. This could be younger students who suffered through the pandemic or adult learners who took several years away from the classroom.
