This past weekend the Male Empowerment Network which is an organization on Kent’s campus did community service which was called Habitat For Humanity. We had our e-board members of the organization and a few non-board members help build a house which was nicely started (wasn’t finished) for first time experience, gain new relationships & connections with people in the job field with years of experience, build & gain new work experience for our individuals, and develop a better relationship with our e-board and members of the community. We just want to show our organization is very involved in the community and is working on bettering the environment in the best way possible. To learn more about us we have empowerment, networking, and fellowship sessions every Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. in the Student Multicultural Center.
