The National Weather Service for Portage County issued a tornado warning in southern Portage County Saturday afternoon.
The warning specifically highlights Kent, Ravenna and Brimfield Township as areas that could be affected until 4:30 p.m.
The warning urges residents to take shelter in a basement or the lowest floor of a sturdy building to avoid flying debris.
