The Northeast Ohio taco chain, Barrio Tacos, announced the opening date for its newest location in Kent, OH. 

Barrio will open its doors on Sept. 16 at 295 S. Water Street in downtown Kent. 

A ribbon-cutting ceremony will begin at 3:30 p.m. and the restaurant will open at 4 p.m.

Barrio Tacos is a build-your-own taco restaurant that offers a wide range of food and alcohol. 

The restaurant also offers catering and food truck services.

Barrio was born in Tremont, Ohio, near downtown Cleveland. The chain now has nine locations.
