Kent State senior safety Nate Holley has officially been indicted by a grand jury for his alleged first-degree felony kidnapping.

Holley was taken into custody last Friday after turning himself in. Holley’s bail was officially set at $50,000; however, he was only required to pay 10 percent. Prosecutors proposed to have the bail raised to $350,000, but were denied by a substitute judge, filling in for Barbara Oswick.

Holley’s trial is set for Jan. 24, 2017, with the pre-trial taking place on Jan 18.
