I think the last time I binge-watched a Disney movie this many times I was four and “Hercules” had just come out on VHS. “Frozen,” which was released on Blu-ray and DVD just under a month ago, is one of those movies you can’t help but love.

While I feel like a good portion of campus has seen this movie, for those of you who haven’t had the privilege, the film is about Elsa, a queen who has magical powers to make snow and ice, and her little sister, Anna.

When the girls are very young, Elsa accidentally strikes Anna with her powers and temporarily freezes part of her brain. After curing Anna by wiping her memory, her parents decide to hide Elsa’s power from everyone — including her sister. However, in typical Disney fashion, the parents die, leaving Elsa to rule the kingdom.

Her powers are discovered, and she flees, causing her to plunge the entire kingdom into an eternal winter.

Anna, a talking snowman, a reindeer and his surly caretaker have to save the day.

This movie is filled with songs that are stuck in your head for days and characters you wish were real and is definitely worth the watch.
