Alpha Eta Rho, Kent State’s professional aviation fraternity, is hosting its first Great Kent State Chili Challenge tomorrow at the Kent State airport in Stow.
The cook-off is what is known as a fly-in, where pilots bring their recipes to the airport via airplane.
Free parking is offered to all single-engine aircraft. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd place recipes will receive prizes. Cornhole and music will also be at the event, which lasts from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
