Alcohol Screenings

Jessica Skitzki

Alcohol screenings will take place for students and the public on the second floor mezzanine of the Student Center Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The screenings will allow for participants to take an anonymous assessment about alcohol abuse and abuse disorders.

The assessment will ask questions about drinking behaviors, habits and other related questions about alcohol usage patterns.

Once the assessment is taken, it will be evaluated and scored. Mental health professionals and University Health Services clinicians will be standing near to talk about the results of the assessment with those who attend.

Educational content about alcohol use disorders and referral information will also be available.

Students and members of the Kent community are encouraged to take advantage of this free opportunity.

The KSU Program Planning Class, University Health Services’ Office of Health Promotion and Psychological Services are putting on the screenings.
