It’s the end of an era for the Kent State men’s golf team.

Longtime coach Herb Page announced in a press conference Thursday that he will be stepping down on July 1 after 41 years as coach of the men’s golf team.

Jon Mills, the current associate head coach of the program, will be appointed as the new head coach.

Page came to Kent State in 1970 as a three-sport athlete before taking over as head coach in 1977.
