The first official joint philanthropy event will be held this Saturday at 6 p.m. in the Student Center Ballroom hosted by Chi Omega and Tau Kappa Epsilon and five bands will perform for entertainment.

Chi Omega and Tau Kappa Epsilon will raise money for the Make-A-Wish foundation and the St. Jude Children’s Research hospital, said Laura Wester, Chi Omega’s philanthropy chair member.

Rockapalooza is an event to raise money, awareness and to create a positive environment.

“Anyone in or outside the Greek life community is welcome to the event,” Wester said. “It’s for a great cause.”

Presale tickets can be purchased Friday in the Student Center for $10 or at the door Saturday for $12. Doors will open at 5:15 p.m.
