In honor of International Yoga Day, the Nepalese Student Association at Kent State University (Kent-NSA) will host a Yogathon on the Kent Green Student Center from 3-5 p.m. Sunday.

The program is in cooperation with the Overseas Volunteers for Better India, or OVBI, and aims to raise funds to support victims of the April 2015 earthquake in Nepal, which killed nearly 9,000 people.

The event will begin with a moment of silence in honor of the victims whose bodies were not found.

Admission for the event is free and open to all. After the program, participants may voluntarily make donations to aid victims and support Kent-NSA’s efforts to rebuild Nepal by securing the education of orphaned children who lost their families in the disaster.
