Eyes on Kent: Broadcasting, movies and Kent State

Just three months ago, professor Bob West, 87, a Kent State alumnus, was driving to teach his film classes at Kent State. Due to a rapid progression of Parkinson’s disease, he now lives at Aurora Manor, a rehabilitation facility.

West misses his ability to go to the movies with his wife Traci, because of their passion for films.

“It was my life,” Bob said, “broadcasting, movies and Kent State.”

West encourages others to seize the moment and make the most of being able to do what you love.
