Kent State will be closed Tuesday because of subzero temperatures.

A KSU Advisory was sent Monday afternoon that closed the campus from 6 p.m. Monday through 6 p.m. Tuesday “due to extreme cold temperatures and for the safety of our employees.”

Kent temperatures were as cold at -9 degrees Monday and are expected to be as low as -6 degrees on Tuesday, according to a weather.com forecast.

Regional campuses, the College of Podiatric Medicine (CPM) and the Cleveland Foot & Ankle Clinic are also closed Tuesday, according to the KSU advisory.
