Last year was the first time Kent State implemented a fee for a student taking credits over the cap of 17. Each credit will cost students $440.
Now, students have to begin working around a 16 credit hour cap for next year.
Students in the music school are struggling to work around the lower credit cap.
Administration is still looking into options for the students. As of now, they have not been able to agree on a solution.
