The Student Recreation and Wellness Center is hosting a holiday basketball tournament starting at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Rec.

Co-ed, men’s and women’s divisions will be played. The tournament is double elimination, so each team will participate in a minimum of two games. Tournament play starts Tuesday and runs through Thursday. Games will be played between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m.

Emily Brainard, freshman special education major, said she hopes a lot of students come out and support their favorite team in the tournament.

“I will be playing in the tournament,” Brainard said. “I expect all of my friends to come and support me because this will be my first time playing basketball since the end of my high school season last year.”

The tournament is free to attend.
