Armed robbery, break-in reported at South Lincoln Street

Police are investigating a Sunday incident of aggravated burglary at Dartmouth Place apartments in the 1000 block of South Lincoln Street, said Lt. Jim Prusha of the Kent City Police Department.

At 8:49 p.m., officers responded to a 911 call reporting a home invasion. Three male suspects allegedly forced their way into the apartment and threatened the residents with weapons.

The suspects, armed with firearms and a baseball bat, demanded money. A male resident was assaulted with the baseball bat, and then the suspects fled. No arrests have been made.

Police described the suspects as:

• All in black clothes and wearing bandanas

• One black male, thin and over 6 feet tall

• One black male, short and heavyset

• One Hispanic male, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall
