Department of Recreational Services will interview for fall positions

The Department of Recreational Services will hold open interviews at 5 p.m. Friday at the Student Recreational and Wellness Center for anyone interested in potential employment with the department.

Areas hiring include Adventure Center, Aquatics, Wellness and Fitness, Flashfleet, Guest Services, Ice Arena, Intramurals, Marketing and Operations.

Interested students should bring a resume, cover letter and completed application. Candidates should bring multiple resume copies if they wish to apply to multiple areas.

Candidates should also come dressed in interview attire.

At the open interviews, prospective employees will receive a brief introduction about the department and a better understanding of each area. Following the department introduction, candidates will sign-up for 10 minute interviews. Pending the success of the interview, candidates may then be invited back for a final interview at a mutually agreed upon date and time.

Abby Millsaps, marketing coordinator for the Department of Recreational Services, said the Recreation and Wellness Center employs more than 200 students.
