Kent State’s Honors College is hosting an event Wednesday for students to meet the new Provost Todd Diacon.

An email from Dean Donald Williams sent to all honors students said Diacon is holding an open conversation with students “in an effort to become better acquainted with Kent State students and to learn about their goals and desires” and so students can learn more about the new provost.

Diacon is Kent State’s new chief academic officer. He replaced Robert Frank, who left after five years as provost to accept the presidency at the University of New Mexico.

The event is Wednesday at 8 p.m. in rooms 62 and 64 of Johnson Hall.
