An assault was reported at 2:47 a.m. Friday morning outside McDowell Hall, according to Kent State police. Two victims signed complaints against Christopher Kovacic, 24, of Maple Heights. Kovacic was brought to Kent State University Police Department for arrest and booking procedures and transported to the Portage County Jail on two misdemeanor assault charges.
