Cable television on campus was cut by black squirrels chewing on the cable feed early Sunday afternoon.

Wendy Shih, manager of information technology at ResNet, said new fiber optic cables are being installed by Time Warner Cable today.

The cable in all campus residence halls went out around 1 p.m. Sunday.

Cable has been restored in some residence halls, Shih said.

The cable is expected to be restored later this afternoon or evening.
