Kent Police arrested a man in connection with yesterday’s Circle K robbery. Mark S. Strong was arrested at his home in the 200 block of Orchard Street in Kent. Police charged him with aggravated robbery, according to a news release this morning from the department.

According to the initial case report, $52 in cash was taken from the North Mantua Street convenience store and gas station. The robbery occurred Thursday morning at 4:10 a.m.

Strong may also be connected to an aggravated robbery that occurred in Stow. Stow police will follow up on his case at a later date, the release stated.

Strong will be arraigned Monday morning in the Portage County Municipal court.
