Clinton announces visit to Columbus

Ohio will see its first visit from a presidential hopeful this week as candidates prepare for the March 4 primary.

Sen. Hillary Clinton will speak in Columbus tomorrow and Friday, according to details published on her campaign’s Web site yesterday.

Tomorrow’s rally at Ohio State’s French Field House begins at 4:30 p.m. and will feature Gov. Ted Strickland and Sen. John Glenn, who has endorsed Clinton. On Friday, she will speak at Charles F. Brush High School in Lyndhurst at 4 p.m.

The Columbus Dispatch reported that Clinton will also campaign in Youngstown tomorrow, but details are unknown.

Clinton and Sen. Barack Obama are scheduled to participate in a televised debate from Ohio, pending her confirmation.
