The Kent chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America will be assisting Donate Life Ohio at the Kent vs. Akron basketball game as a part of the Do It Now Challenge to sign people up as organ donors.

The Do It Now Challenge is a competition between 14 Ohio colleges including Kent State University and Akron University. Donate Life Ohio will begin registration at the M.A.C at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The members of PRSSA will also be walking around during half time to encourage people to sign up.

There are nearly 2,500 people in need of transplants and fewer than half of Ohioans have registered to become organ donors. PRSSA, along with Donate Life Ohio, will be encouraging as many students to sign up as possible. Kent State has already registered 3,800 donors.
