Last night hundreds of Golden Flashes flocked to Risman Plaza to show their Kent State pride in preparation for this weekend’s Homecoming festivities, including tomorrow’s game against Miami.

Cheers of “K-S-U” filled the plaza as students decked out in blue and gold watched as the Homecoming Court was announced. There were also performances from the dance team, a few sororities, the cheerleading team and even Kent State’s spirited mascot, Flash.

The football team led by coach Doug Martin also made an appearance in preparation for Saturday’s game.
