The River Monkeys suffered a heart shattering loss on Monday night in the first round of the co-rec volleyball playoffs.

The Monkeys were undefeated throughout the regular season with a 6-0 record and didn’t just win the games, but crushed teams along the way – some weeks with only three players.

Their captain wanted to thank the team for a solid season and wanted to comment on how the intramural league could not provide sufficient referees for the playoffs, even though the league has fees that are suppose to take care of that.
