Today Ohio voters went to the polls for the midterm elections, casting their ballots to elect a new governor, U.S. senator and other state and county officials, as well as voting on issues such as banning smoking in public places and raising the minimum wage.

The Portage County Board of Elections and the Ohio Secretary of State’s office are posting preliminary, unofficial results on their Web sites throughout the night.
