For some college students, just saying no doesn’t work. Most alcohol awareness programs have been lecturing to students not to drink. Now there is a new message.

Randy Haveson will present “Partying with a Plan” at 7 p.m. tomorrow in the Carol A. Cartwright Hall. Delta Zeta is co-sponsoring the event with Student Health Promotions and Health Services. Allocations is helping fund the event. This is a campus wide event and targets Greeks, freshmen and athletes.

“He is the first person who does not preach to you or use scare tactics,” Delta Zeta President Megan Grote said. “Randy relates to college students. He recognizes drinking does go on and he gives you tools to make a low risk decision.”
