When one hears “high school musical,” one might think of a cheap production put on by young amateurs. In reality, many long hours are devoted to a high school production, including much rehearsing, set building, costume designing, orchestra rehearsal and much more. The director selects the cast carefully, many of whom are members of the International Thespian Society. Many odd traditions also have been passed down from cast to cast. Most importantly, there is much camaraderie and unity behind the scenes, which make the cast a tight-knit group.
