Writing workshop open to undergraduate students and faculty

Club English will be hosting an informal writing workshop at 5 p.m. today in room 204D of Satterfield Hall. Such workshops will be offered once a month throughout April.

This event is open to any undergraduate student or faculty member who would like to have his or her work reviewed. Individuals should bring at least three copies of each piece of writing to allow more Club English members to review the work and offer advice.

The workshop is meant to provide comments for self-improvement. The club will accept any genre of writing at any level and offer help, criticisms and critical views.

The club will review work created for pleasure or study. It also hopes individuals planning to submit a completed project in the club’s poetry reading in April will stop by for suggestions, club president Ashley Howard said.
