Kent State University launched ScholarshipUniverse, a search portal with more than 240 Kent State scholarships and 6,000 external scholarships, according to a Monday Flashline announcement.

Students must login to ScholarshipUniverse and complete a profile to get started. Then, there will be questions for students to fill out to help match with scholarships to apply to.

“While you don’t have to answer all of these questions, the more you answer, the better your search results will be for scholarships for which you can apply,” the announcement stated.

Scholarships will be based on major, academic achievements, financial need, activities, interests and more, the email stated.

Current institutional scholarships available in the portal are those awarded by the University Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid, the College of Education, Health and Human Services and the East Liverpool Campus; but all of the Regional Campus scholarships will be available in the coming months.

All scholarships will be awarded through ScholarshipUniverse by academic year 2023-24.
