Hockey club defeats Michigan-Dearborn

The high amount of blocked shots by the Kent State Hockey Club led them to defeat University of Michigan-Dearborn 4-1.

The Flashes’ goalie, sophomore Sky Buller, blocked 24 of the 25 shots attempted by the Wolverines.

Sophomore Jon Buttitta scored an unassisted shot in the second period. Sophomore Chance Taylor also scored in the second period assisted by senior Chad Parise and junior Bobby Rhue. Junior TJ West scored in the fourth period, assisted by Parise. Sophomore Jake Hainline was assisted on his goal by senior Jared Fielden.
